In My Sketch Book

 Hello there again!  Here is a peek into my sketch book.  Since I started AP art this year I have improved so much!  Here are my sketches from the beginning of this year!  I will have more recent drawings up soon!

 The drawing above is a line drawing.  This means I drew the entire thing without picking up my pen once.  The only time I picked it up was to draw the patterns in the hair and on her face.

Another line drawing!  There are so many in my sketch book!  I love to do them!

Recently Thrifted

 Good morning readers!  I recently went thrifting and here is what I found!

 Six new necklaces!  I love the long pearl strands.

See this breifcase?  It is now my crafting case.  filled with wonderful crochet patterns and yarn.

What I Wore: Thanksgiving 2012

Happy belated Thanksgiving! Here is what I wore! I am so happy to finally show you the dress I made!  I fell in love with the vintage fabric and lace- I knew it was perfect for the pattern.

Rainbow Nails

Hello friends!  I wanted to share my nails with you today!  It is super easy and turns out really cute!  All I did was choose my nail polish colors, paint one color at a time onto a foam brush and dab it onto my nails!  See?    Easy-peasy!

Red Lipstick and Reflections

 Yesterday I got all dolled up and spent a few hours at the new Traverse Outlets only to come home and sleep.  I hadn't been feeling the greatest the last few days and it only got worse. Hopefully I will start feeling better!

This is one of my favorite dresses!  I found it at an estate sale hidden in the backyard in a box behind an old fishing boat!  There were tons of other dresses that I snagged from the box.  I am so glad no one saw them before me.  A couple of guys who I run into quite often at sales gave me a couple stink eyes when they saw that they walked right past the dresses and I picked them up!

I Sewed: My Second Dress

I finally finished my sewing project!  This is the second dress I have ever made, so I don't think it turned out bad at all!  I love the fall colors-they were perfect for Thanksgiving!  Above you can see the picture of the dress pattern on the far left.

 It was a pretty basic pattern.  The most complicated parts to it were a few darts and a zipper.  It was a great beginner piece for me.  

 Anywhoo, I think it turned out really cute, and my next project is already under construction!  This one is pretty complicated and the only hint I will give you is that it took seven and a half yards of fabric! For one dress!
