A Small Paint Job Makes A Huge Difference

Here is yet another small glimpse into my room post-makeover!  It is this close to being finished.  But it's not so I don't think I will show it off yet.  Hang in there, friends.  I want it done too!

Last weekend I went to an estate sale and bought this organizer for $1.50.  It's cute as is, but I saw more potential in it.  When I first saw it I pictured it on my vanity full of vintage stationery.  The only thing I needed to do was paint it a color that matched my room.  Any guesses as to what color that could be..?

Pink!

Now all I need are cute sparkly pens to go in the front spaces with my sparkly earbuds.

DIY Badges

I have got some DIYs planned for this month to really make up for my absence!  The first one is on making your own badges.  These will connect with another DIY sometime in the near future, so be sure to make some so you can follow!

Supplies:
  • felt
  • needle
  • embroidery floss
  • safety pin and glue (optional)

After, if you wish, you can hot glue a safety pin to the back of your new badge.  I didn't do so because I am planning on sewing mine onto the next project.

A little paint goes a long way

As you know, I am redoing my bedroom, which means a very fair amount of paint has been involved. I need to paint all of my walls, furniture, and decor to match my pastel-themed goal. This post is  purposed to show just how easy it is to change the look of something and bring out all of the potential with just a bit of paint.

Rainbow Nails

Hello friends!  I wanted to share my nails with you today!  It is super easy and turns out really cute!  All I did was choose my nail polish colors, paint one color at a time onto a foam brush and dab it onto my nails!  See?    Easy-peasy!
