Just sewing

I got a sewing machine for Christmas!  Now I have all the time in the world to sew anything I want.  The sewing doesn't have to end after my sewing class.  So here I am, sitting in my room Oakey Cave, never planning on leaving.

Recently Thrifted

Isn't this outfit the funniest!?  I will definitely wear the sweater, but the shorts are never leaving my house!

I was so excited to find this vintage velvet blazer! I have wanted a blue one to pin all of my vintage brooches on, but who am I to be so picky? Purple it is!

I didn't notice until I was in the car driving away, but the padding in this bra has disintegrated!  It leaves dust every time I touch it.  So I will have to open up the inside, dump it out (ew) and sew in new pads.

Gingerbread House Party!

I may be the oldest, and all of my older cousins may have quit years ago, but I see myself making a house until I have kids of my own.  Anything that requires creativity and decorating will not be passed up.

My cousin Mckenzie wanted me to make her a rainbow mohawk hat for Christmas.  And that is exactly what she got.
 Have a merry Christmas everyone!

This is the best estate sale I had been to in months!  I went back twice!  Unfortunately, the day I decide to take a picture of myself estate sale-ing is one of the only days I didn't dress up to go out.  Anyway, lets check out my stash:

I was devastated when I tried these pants on.  They are way too big for me.  I put them on and pulled them up to cover my bra!  This lady had some looong legs.
I have huge plans for this dress.  I am going to alter it a bit to really turn it into a gem!

Collections: Part Two: Vintage Sewing Patterns

I  own so many patterns, I only pulled a few of my favorites!

Some kind-hearted soul decided to "decorate" the middle girl.
